Top Ten Graphic Designers

Background

Imagine that Gary Hustwit is launching a Kickstarter Campaign about the designers who

made an impact on the industry. The posters would promote the film but they all must be

designed similar with the intention of promoting the film. I worked with 10 Other Designers

in my Cohort. We all had to make choices as a group and what would be the best route on

designing these. It was slightly difficult because it was my first time working with others.

These posters would be available for purchase in our scenario, but we thought that our

artists had a lot to feature. The approach we took was to create one poster, but with a

front and a back side and the consumer who purchased the poster can choose whichever

side they please to present.

Paula Scher is a designer who gained recognition primarily due to her typography.

She is the graphic designer I chose for this project, initially I wasn't familiar with her

but I watched a documentary on her prior to designing. I took the route of a Collage

because I wanted her typography and style to shine. However, I do not have the

files for every artist included in the spread above, everything below is what I could

include with the Designer who created it.
